Chevron Corp. — Evacuation Placards

This 2nd component to the Interior Signage System. Placards were installed at all emergency evacuation routes — nearly 10,000 unique installs during the 2-year project. As lead designer and project manager, I worked with Chevron architects and engineers to accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings for each corporate and industrial building in Chevron's real estate holdings. Prototypes were submitted to San Francisco Fire Department inspectors during the review and approval process. Chevron was among the first companies to comply with California's stringent regulations for emergency evacuation signage. Companion handouts were also created for group spaces such as conference rooms, cafeterias, and health facilities.
