Clubs for Kids is focused on providing golf clubs and other golfing equipment
to those children that participate in the first tee program in New Haven, Connecticut.
Our Mission
The First Tee is a worthy cause that teaches the game of golf to those children who would other wise not have the opportunity to learn because they don't have the means to buy the equipment.
I personally saw the need for programs such as clubs for kids in my experience volunteering at the First Tee of New Haven. I noticed that there always seemed to be a shortage of clubs for the kids. Since I've been playing golf for over 10 years I know that many people who have played the game as long as I have will have either old or extra golf clubs that they never use. I thought that I could some how get these people to donate these clubs to people that are in need of these clubs.
This website is my solution to the problem of the shortage of clubs. I hope that eventually the shortage of clubs will come to an end in New Haven and that I can move on to the other First Tee programs in Connecticut.
